John Turner Construction Group Ltd have sites in Preston, Liverpool and Manchester and have more than 120 users for whom we provide IT support services. Our long standing relationship with them means that Acumen staff have been providing professional IT support and services to John Turner Construction Group since the early 1990's. When Acumen was formed in 2012, they had no hesitation in allowing Acumen to provide IT support services. In 2015 Acumen provided a full virtual environment to host their business critical apps including Document Management and Electrical Applications. In 2016 we also installed replication servers to minimise downtime in the event of a major system issue. This is tested regularly to ensure continuity of up-time for their business critical apps. We also provide a fully managed service to support their servers, networks and security software.

A E Yates are a large civil engineering and tunnelling business for whom Acumen staff have been providing support services for more than 10 years. In 2017, Acumen project managed and provided new server hardware and other technical requirements to upgrade their legacy financial systems. Working directly with their third party software vendor, we delivered a system which will
help ensure smooth operation of their financial systems for many years to come.
A Andrews Marbles & Tiles Ltd - Leeds
Commercial Marbles & Tiles
Acumen staff have had a long standing relationship with A Andrews Marbles and Tiles Ltd for more than 20 years. They have offices in Leeds and Glasgow with a total of 35 users. Originally called upon to support their financial systems we were then approached by them to replace all of their core IT systems in 2013. We met with them and came up with the solution of providing them with a virtual environment to host all of their critical Microsoft servers and a Linux financial system. They agreed and the project was implemented out of office hours meaning that their users did not endure any downtime during the upgrade process. They have been very happy with the systems we installed and we continue to support all their core business IT systems.
F Walther Electrics Ltd - Stockport
We have worked with and supported the systems at F Walther Electrics Ltd since 1994. We have formed a fantastic relationship with them and in 2014 we helped them reduce their physical server count by implementing a single server utilising virtualisation to run their 3 core IT systems on a single server. This helped them to save upgrade costs, ongoing support costs and long term energy costings whilst at the same time reducing their carbon footprint and making their business greener. In 2016 they acquired another company and instantly appointed us to upgrade and support their IT systems.

Acumen staff have supported their critical financial systems for more than 20 years and when Acumen formed in 2012 Hogan Group had no hesitation in migrating this support to us. We have supported them since and in 2016 we upgraded their legacy systems with a

Anderton & Kitchen Civil Engineers Ltd - Leyland
Providing Civil Engineering Services Across the North West Since 1972
We have supported the financial systems at Anderton and Kitchen Civil Engineers Ltd for more than 15 years. In 2014, they decided that they wanted to change their core IT support provider and migrated to Acumen. Since then, we have upgraded their core IT systems, provided robust cyber security and replaced all of their older PCs and laptops. We also migrated their critical email
service to Office 365 due to constant issues they were having from an older email service provided by their initial IT support company and they have never had an email outage since. We have a fantastic relationship with everyone at Anderton & Kitchen
